Over the course of my work, my main focus has been in generating and managing live performance events, across a range of contexts- from setting up and managing an outside opera festival for 10 years, touring opera and musical theatre across hotel venues in the Middle/Far East, to most recently managing New York showcases for graduates from the Federation of Drama Schools, alongside organising recuitment, CPD and development events for this company and curating and producing new writing festivals involving staging 27 plays across 5 days.

 

I have found that the diversity of career experience that I bring has meant that I can often be an adaptable and effective one stop shop for organisations who have smaller budgets, don't have permanent events teams and who want to create a personal and specific event rather than a commercial or corporate programme. Within the events projects I have managed, I have been responsible across a range of aspects from designing print materials, production design, event risk assessment and licensing, as well as recruitment and training of staff, managing budgets and schedules.
