


Tamsin Stanley
Initially, I studied English Literature and Art History at Cambridge University, and during my time there also worked on over 40 productions and tours as a performer, writer, designer, producer and stage manager, including shows at EdFringe, London, Oxford and Stratford.
Since then I have worked as a producer/project/company manager across TV, live events, tours, opera and theatre at various points, in the UK and beyond. I have also managed venues, created education resources and marketing campaigns alongside projects as a dramaturg, production designer and writer.
Most recently my work has been in higher education contexts, developing, writing and delivering performer training programmes and new writing / contextual studies courses /enhancement projects for UK drama schools, inc work for LAMDA, Drama Studio London, Italia Conti, Fourth Monkey, Drama Centre, RADA, Oxford School of Drama, including quality assurance, academic strategy, student engagement and support roles.
I also work for the Federation of Drama Schools, co-ordinating and delivering events, communications and strategy across the drama school sector in the UK.
I've also operated as a board member and consultant for theatre companies and arts charities across the UK.
Written in collaboration with Philippa Strandberg Long, my book An Actor’s Research: Investigating Choices for Practice and Performance was published in November 2022.
